Mechanics included - 5x persistent automatic email CRM’s sent based on player behavior with theme / avatar rewards.
Our challenge for DISSIDIA is explaining the battle system in an understandable way. Instead of making traditional tutorial videos, we took a more fun, humorous approach with 12 static and animated battle guides.
We felt we found the right balance of education and feeding the core FF fans.
Hosted by G4's Attack of the Show Kevin Pereira, we created a real-life game show inspired by our game to bring more ridiculousness and hilarity!

We had to educate gamers about the 4 dimensions in our game. In order to do this, we took it upon ourselves to film, star, edit, and produce a 4 part video series taking inspiration from the British TV series "Look Around You"

The #1 inquiry from fans (via quant market research) was what the SD to HD up-resolution looked like. We ended up creating a full interactive trailer using YouTube's annotations, and some internet magic bringing the world of 16:9 and 4:3 into one beautiful interactive piece.
